This past summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the VCUarts Summer Intensive. Thanks to my parents, this program allowed me to enhance my skills as a photographer and learn more about my craft. It also helped me develop valuable connections and relationships. Next summer I would like to attend the School of Visual Arts’ (ranked #6 out of the best schools for photography) pre-college program majoring in darkroom photography. I believe that this program will give me the opportunity to bring the quality of my craft to the next level, and challenge me as an artist. The program costs$4,425 which includes tuition, housing, and a meal plan. At the conclusion of the program I will receive 3 college credits which will improve my college resume, and put me one step closer to my goal of attending SVA as an incoming freshmen in 2016.
